Michael B.Jordan responds to those Superman rumors

It was recently revealed that a new “Superman” movie with J.J Abrams producing and “Black Panther” writer Ta-Nehisi Coates scripting was in the works at Warner Bros. The project won’t star Henry Cavill but a black actor in the title role. With Michael B.Jordan reportedly developing his own Superman movie back in 2019, many assumed the former “Friday Night Lights” actor might be Warner’s pick for the title role here.

Out promoting his new film “Without Remorse”, the “Creed” actor says while he’s flattered to be associated with the iconic role, he can’t speak to the rumors.

“I appreciate people that think about me in that type of way for these roles”, the actor tells Jakes Takes. “I don’t really have anything more to kind of give on that, other than it’s just flattering and I appreciate it.”

“Whoever they get, or if it goes that way, I think it’ll be an interesting thing to see,” Jordan added.

A very wisely-worded response, MJ.
