Ralph Fiennes, Rebecca Hall, Mark Strong and Saïd Taghmaoui are set for “The Forgiven”, the latest offering from “The Guard” director Michael McDonagh.
Per Deadline, ”The English Patient star Fiennes and Vicky Cristina Barcelona star Hall would lead McDonagh’s adaptation of the well-received novel by Lawrence Osborne, about the dramatic fallout following a random accident on the lives of an English couple (Fiennes and Hall), their friends and the local Moroccans who all converge on a luxurious desert villa during a decadent weekend-long party. Production is slated to start early next year in Morocco.”
IMR International will be spruiking the title at Cannes this week.
