With Michael Keaton reprising his Reagan-era Baman for the upcoming “The Flash”, it’s a possibility we could see some of the other rogues from Keaton’s Caped Crusader tenure pop up in the DCEU down the line.
Ageless beauty Michelle Pfeiffer, who portrayed Selina Kyle aka Catwoman in 1992’s “Batman Returns” alongside Keaton, was asked by Screen Rant whether she’d be keen to join her former co-star for “The Flash’ movie. Her answer will bring a smile to many-a-face.
“if anyone asked me, but no one’s asked me yet.”
The 62 year-old actress was originally set for more than just a one-off stint as Catwoman back in the day, with a spin-off (written by Daniel Waters) and a cameo in “Batman Forever” also on the table at one stage.
Warner were pretty hot on Pfeiffer’s Catwoman at one stage, even “Gladiator” scribe John August revealed that he’d written a solo jaunt for the character.
Catwoman at Warners in 1998. Sequel with Michelle Pfeiffer returning. Producer excited. After pitch, exec insisted it needed to be Sarah Michelle Gellar and involve hair-washing scene, then showed me Matrix trailer. #ShareYourRejections

Warner Bros would end up doing “Catwoman”, but with Halle Berry in the title role. Anne Hathaway also played the role for Christopher Nolan’s “The Dark Knight Rises”.
Keaton is rumored to have been contracted to reprise his Batman across several DCEU movies, one of them being a feature adaptation of comic classic “The Dark Knight Returns”.
