In ‘Oh no, the network are going to kill him’ news, “Star Trek : Discovery” producer (or consulting producer, as he’s credited) Nicholas Meyer has potentially revealed the star of the new CBS All Access series.
While speaking to Coming Soon, the “Star Trek II : The Wrath of Khan” helmer noted matter-of-factly that “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon” actress Michelle Yeoh is in the series.
While Meyer simply said “I know Michelle Yeoh is in it”, it’s speculated that she’s playing that of the film’s main character, a female lieutenant.
“Star Trek : Discovery” debuts May 2017 on CBS, before rolling out the rest of the eps on CBS All Access and Netflix globally (besides North America).
