“Austin Powers” and “Wayne’s World” alum Mike Myers is returning to the small screen, fronting a limited event series for Netflix in which he’ll play as many as 7 (!) characters.
The actor, who got his start on “Saturday Night Live”, also created “The Pentaverate”, which tells of a secret society who have been working to influence world events since 1347. Myers plays a Canadian journalist who uncovers the operation.
Ken Jeong, Keegan-Michael Key, Debi Mazar, Richard McCabe, Jennifer Saunders, & Lydia West co-star in the project, Myers’ first acting gig since “Bohemian Rhapsody” in 2017.
Myers is also said to be developing a fourth “Austin Powers” film with original director Jay Roach.
