Miles Joris-Peyrafitte to direct Tank Girl reboot

Following the announcement that Margot Robbie will be attached to an upcoming reboot of “Tank Girl” via her production company LuckyChap Entertainment, a director has been attached. Miles Joris-Peyrafitte, who recently directed “Dreamland” starring Robbie, has been announced to direct the “Tank Girl” flick, Collider has confirmed.

Created in 1988, “Tank Girl” follows a tank operator with a mostly-shaved head who travels around a post-apocalyptic hellscape doing odd jobs and getting into trouble. Alan Martin co-created “Tank Girl” with Jamie Hewlett and it was previously turned into a 1995 film starring Lori Petty and directed by Rachel Talalay,

Whilst it hasn’t been confirmed, it’s assumed the film will be set up as a starring vehicle for Robbie, who will produce alongside partners Tom Ackerley and Josey McNamara. It’s worth noting that the film is in very early development, so no script has been finalised.
