“Mission : Impossible 7” has been shut down again due to the novel coronavirus.

At least one member of the production tested positive, halting shooting for at least 14 days while those involved self-isolate.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, it is unsure how many people involved in the production tested positive.

“We have temporarily halted production on Mission: Impossible 7 until June 14th, due to positive coronavirus test results during routine testing. We are following all safety protocols and will continue to monitor the situation,” read a statement from the production.

The Tom Cruise-starrer shut down in February 2020 just as the pandemic kicked in.

Christopher McQuarrie”s “Mission : Impossible 7”, also starring, Rebecca Ferguson, Esai Morales, Hayley Atwell, Shea Whigham, Pom Klementieff and Henry Czerny, is slated for a May 27, 2022, release.
