Islington-born actress Naomie Harris will skip spies for superheroes when she faces off against Tom Hardy’s ‘Venom’ in the upcoming Sony sequel.
Per Deadline, the “Skyfall” and “Pirates of the Caribbean” star will play sonic-powered rogue Shriek in the film, which also features Woody Harrelson as the fan-favorite bad guy called Carnage. In the comics, Shriek was a love interest for the latter.
Andy Serkis will direct “Venom 2”, which is due in theaters October 2, 2020.
Harris recently completed filming on Bond sequel “No Time To Die”.
