Kevin Smith is using Instagram – thus far, anyway – to reveal members of his long-awaited “Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back” sequel.

Last week, the “Jay and Silent Bob Reboot” writer/director/star revealed that both Jason Lee and Brian O’Halloran are back in the View Askew universe for the follow-up, and now he’s more names to add to IMDB.

Joe Manganiello, Justin Long, Frankie Shaw and Craig Robinson have all filmed scenes  – in New Orleans, where the pic is lensing – in the movie, which sees Jay and Silent Bob (Jason Mewes and Smith, respectively) headed to Hollywood to stop a reboot being made of their favorite flick.

Due for release in the spring, “Jay and Silent Bob Reboot” is Smith’s first film since his heart attack in 2018.

Here come da’ Judge! @jayandsilentbob had to go to court yesterday with a comedic legal dream team that included a pair of #zackandmirimakeaporno veterans! On the bench was the honorable @mrcraigrobinson, who fought frigid Pittsburgh winter weather with me a decade ago to make a Porno. Speaking of Penguins country, Pittsburgh’s own @deathsaves Dungeon master Mister @joemanganiello was our Bailiff (with producer @jordanmonsanto playing his twin). The creator, star and director of my favorite show, @sho_smilf (as well as my costar in the #hollyweed pilot) @frankieshawisag joined us as the Prosecutor! And for the Defense – my @tuskthemovie brother-in-sewn-up-arms, the genius @therealstephenblatt as the Lawyer (who sounds an awful lot like a Bobby Long-less Brandon St. Randy)! Reboot looks like my extended family scrap book, with cameos from folks I’ve worked with for years (and a few famous folks I’ve never met before but am looking forward to making pretend beside). And these fine folks flew all the way to #nola the day before #mardigras to fling funny around and make my movie better. And since I know what they got paid, I’m relatively sure they didn’t do it for the meager money. There’s a lot of love in this photo (which more resembles the key art for a “Night Court” reboot than the actual scene we shot yesterday). I appreciate that love and send it right back to my fellow thespians for making the cross-country Reboot-y Call! #KevinSmith #jasonmewes #craigrobinson #justinlong #frankieshaw #joemanganiello #deathsaves #jayandsilentbobreboot #JayandSilentBob #JayandSilentBobStrikeBack #indiefilm #indiefilmmaking @dpronlevy @traceylandon @destrofilms @jaymewes @jayandsilentbob @jordanmonsanto @kylebonokaplan 📸 @saban_films @universalpictures @skitbags @hideoutpictures @legionmofficial

Clueless cast reunite to celebrate 25th Anniversary!

Alicia SIlverstone, Paul Rudd, Breckin Meyer and Donald Faison were present

The cast of ’90s gem “Clueless” reunited at C2E2 at McCormick Place Saturday afternoon to share memories of working on the now 25-year-old comedy classic.

While a couple of cast members were noticeably absent (specifically, Stacey Dash, who played Dionne, and the late, wonderful Brittany Murphy, who left us in 2009), the 2,800 seat hall did get to spend quality time with Alicia Silverstone, Paul Rudd, Breckin Meyer and Donald Faison.

While most of the cast had understandably aged, Rudd seems to be stuck in time.

“I’m 80 years old on the inside.” He pointed to his chest: “In here, pure darkness — and a little moisturizer.”

“They had to knock on Paul’s trailer an hour early because he had to finish sucking the lifeblood out of babies”, said Meyer, who played skateboarder Travis in the film.

While the audience seemed to be gunning for solid word on some sort of sequel, the cast reiterated that the film is  – sadly – going to be rebooted… without them.

Check out some of the pics from the panel :
