More reboots planned : Pirates of the Caribbean, Critters, Killer Klowns from Outer Space

Disney are reportedly in early talks with writers Rhett Reese & Paul Wernick, the duo behind the “Deadpool” films, to potentially write a script for a “Pirates of the Caribbean” reboot. Jerry Bruckheimer will again produce, but it’s still early days so any further details as to who may return are unknown.

The question is: is it necessary? I suppose anything that makes money is worth it for a big studio.
