I get it, there’s an audience for these things, but c’mon networks – dream up some new ideas!
Joining the likes of “Magnum P.I”, “MacGyver”, “Roswell : New Mexico” and “Saved by the Bell” on the small screen soon – a reboot of “True Blood” (yep, it only recently finished!) and “ICarly”.
The latter, set up at Paramount+, ees Miranda Cosgrove, Jerry Trainor and Nathan Kress reprise their roles from the Nickelodeon series.
The “True Blood” revamp hails from the “Riverdale” cap – Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa will co-write and direct the new version over at HBO. Likely to have nothing to do with the Anna Paquin-Stephen Moyer incarnation though creator Alan Ball will apparently be an EP on it.
