Naomi Watts is in negotiations to join Jake Gyllenhaal in Jean-Marc Vallee’s “Demolition”, reports The Wrap.
Watts would star as the female lead in the film which sees Gyllenhaal play an investment banker whose life begins to unravel following the tragic loss of his wife. When he meets a single mother (Watts), however, his life begins to turn around.
Russell Smith of Mr. Mudd will produce with Lianne Halfon and John Malkovich. Exec producers are Jason Reitman, Helen Estabrook and Nathan Ross.
