Universal has released a new snippet from Keanu Reeves’ latest film “47 Ronin”, and we have it here.
The film tells the story of a troupe of banished samurai desperate to restore their honour and seek vengeance against the treacherous Lord Kira (Tadanobu Asano), who kill their master.
Sadly, instead of bloody-and-brutal man-on-man action, this clip reveals that the heroes will be fighting rather poorly rendered beasts instead of human foes; it looks a lot like Reeves will be fighting cartoon characters as opposed to flesh-and-blood creatures.
“47 Ronin” will open in 3D on Christmas Day.
