The man in the hat is back!
Just a day or so into production and already a pic of Harrison Ford in full ‘Indy’ garb has been captured from the UK set of the next “Indiana Jones” film.
In addition, there’s shots of a double wearing what appears to be a ‘Harrison Ford Mask’ for what can only be a flashback sequence.
The James Mangold-directed film is lensing in such locations as Bamburgh Castle on the Northumberland.
(Interestingly enough, Steven Spielberg had a haunted castle prologue in mind for “Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade”, initially – – might the writers have restored the previously abandoned sequence for this film?)
The new film is rumoured to be set around the race to space with Mads Mikkelsen playing a Nazi scientist. In addition to Ford and Mikkelsen, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Thomas Kretschmann (below), Boyd Holbrook and Shaunette Renée Wilson will co-star in the 2022 release.
No doubt Disney will rush an official pic from the film out now that this one is doing the rounds!
