New Micallef, Gordon comedy Bastards sold to Fox

Jason Micallef’s single-camera comedy “Bastards” has been sold to Fox, according to Deadline.com.

Writer of upcoming movie “Butter” Micallef describes the unconventional comedy as being about “a family who has never met”.

Director of last year’s hit comedy “Horrible Bosses”, Seth Gordon, is attached to direct the series.

Sony TV, Jamie Tarses’ Fanfare and Underground are producing alongside executive producers Gordon, Micallef, Tarses, Trevor Engelson and Josh McGuire.

The show will mark Seth Gordon’s return to Fox, where he originally helped create and executive produce the [TV] comedy “Breaking In”
