Caffeinated Clint
The third “Bridget Jones” movie, starring whoeevertheheckthatis Renee Zellweger and a prosthetic bump, is underway in London.
The Irish Examiner snagged some long-lens captured goods from the set, including the following pics of Colin Firth – reprising Mark Darcy – and the “Empire Records” girl herself, complete with bub belly.
Additionally, ‘franchise’ newcomer Patrick Dempsey, assumingly playing a potential new lover for Bridget (or a second to accompany her first), was pictured looking rather solemn in some set photos acquired by OK.
Something about the film already feels off – I don’t know if it’s Zellweger, and her waning appeal, or the fact that Hugh Grant skipped this one (the dude don’t even skip on hideous looking prostitutes), but it comes across as the frankensteinien salvage effort of a project initially due to get up a few years back. Happy to be surprised though.
