Next Fast & Furious follows the lead of Ocean’s Eight

The previously reported “Fast & Furious” spin-off that’ll see the guys stepping aside so the girls can burn rubber, has writers.

Series producer Vin Diesel (and sister and producing partner Samantha Vincent) hit Instagram to share the news that Nicole Perlman, Lindsey Beer and Geneva Robertson-Dworet have boarded the project – which doesn’t yet have a title or start date.

Between them, Perlman, Robertson-Dworet and Beer have worked on at least half-a-dozen blockbusters, including “Captain Marvel”, “Guardians of the Galaxy”, “Transformers” and “Tomb Raider”.

The next “Fast & Furious” film, a spin-off centering on Jason Statham & Dwayne Johnson’s characters, releases this summer.
