One of the two projects about Tiger King Joe Exotic is off the table.
Nicolas Cage tells Variety that the planned scripted series he was going to headline for Amazon Prime Video has been shelved.
Set up at the streamer over a year ago, the project didn’t go beyond script stage. The series will likely not be developed elsewhere as interested in Tiger King has dissipated in the past twelve months.
Peacock still have their Joe Exotic limited series in the works, with John Cameron Mitchell playing the title role.
