No throne for King Conan anytime soon

Looks like Conan won’t be sword-swinging again anytime soon.

According to the barbarian’s director, John Milius, the long-planned "King Conan" – set to star either original star Arnold Schwarzenegger or rumoured replacement Triple H – is on hold.

"King Conan is pretty well on hold", he tells G4TV. "Warner Brothers decided they’re going to do their own version of whatever they want to do with Conan. They’ve sort of put it in deep, deep freeze. I don’t know. You’ll have to talk to Warner Brothers and ask them what their wisdom is. They’ll probably do an animated, kid-friendly Conan."

"King Conan : Crown of Iron", originally set to go into production this year, is the third film in the "Conan" movie series.

Thanks to The Arnold Fans for the heads up!
