One of Robin Williams’ Jumanji co-stars returns for threequel

One of the stars of the original “Jumanji” (1995) is returning for Sony’s upcoming threequel.

According to Revenge of the Fans, actress Bebe Neuwirth will reprise her role as Nora Shepard from the Robin Williams classic.

While there was a nice wink here-and-there to Williams and his “Jumanji” in 2017’s “Jumanji : Welcome to the Jungle”, an actual appearance from one of his former castmates is even better. Still, surprised they haven’t linked in Kirsten Dunst or Bonnie Hunt.

In addition to Neuwirth, best known for her role as Lilith on “Cheers” and spin-off “Frasier”,  the site adds that Lamorne Morris (“New Girl”) and Danny De Vito’s daughter Lucy also have roles.

We exclusively reported last week that “Eastbound & Down” star Michael Beasley is also in the film.

The untitled “Jumani” sequel arrives December 13 in theaters.
