Original Avatar actress not returning for sequel

Michelle Rodriguez likely won’t be back for James Cameron’s “Avatar” sequel/s.

The “Furious 7” actress tells The New York Post that she hasn’t been asked to reprise her role of Trudy Chacon.

“They’re bringing back a lot of other characters. I know [Sigourney Weaver’s] coming back and the guy who played the bad guy, [Stephen Lang], is coming back,” said Rodriguez. “But yeah, I’m not gonna be in it.”

Don’t sweat it Michelle, you’ll likely have a couple more “Fast & Furious” movies to shoot over the next two to three years anyway.

The first of the proposed new “Avatar” sequels is due 2017.
