Original director, writers return for Scary Stories sequel

André Øvredal will return to direct a sequel to Paramount and eOne’s “Scary Stories to Tell int he Dark”, according to Bloody Disgusting.

The original horror release, which chalked up a sumly $100 million worldwide, was released to both decent reviews and surprising box-office success in August of 2019.

Dan Hageman and Kevin Hageman will again write with Guillermo Del Toro, who produced the original, reprising his role on the new film.
