Jessica Harper, who had the lead role in the original ’70s classic “Suspira”, will have a role in the upcoming remake, says EW
The new film, from Luca Guadagnino, stars Dakota Johnson, Tilda Swinton, Chloe Grace Moretz, and Mia Goth. Like the original film, it will be set in Berlin in 1977 and tell of a young American woman who travels to a prestigious Ballet Company arriving just as one of it’s members disappears.
Production will begin soon for a 2017 release.
Speaking of originals returning, Tobin Bell is reportedly returning for the new “Saw” film “Saw Legacy”. Find out how that works – since his character is dead – over at Bloody Disgusting.
