Al Pacino has been enlisted for Quentin Tarantino’s “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood”.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the veteran actor will play Marvin Shwarz, the agent of Leonardo DiCaprio’s character.
Pacino joins an ensemble including Brad Pitt, Leonardo DiCaprio, Margot Robbie, Burt Reynolds, Tim Roth, Michael Madsen, Timothy Olyphant, Dakota Fanning, Damian Lewis, Nicholas Hammond and Luke Perry.
Set in Los Angeles in 1969, the film follows Rick Dalton (DiCaprio), a former star of a Western TV series, and his longtime stunt double, Cliff Booth (Pitt), who are struggling to make it in a Hollywood they don’t recognize anymore. But Rick has a very famous next-door neighbor…Sharon Tate (Robbie).
“Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” is due for release Aug. 9, 2019.
