Paramount “extremely confident” in new Terminator

It’s official, as previously rumored, the Tim Miller-directed “Terminator” reboot will be titled “Terminator : Dark Fate”.

The film, released November 1, sees Arnold Schwarzenegger and Linda Hamilton reunite with James Cameron, director of the landmark original films on a film set after the events of 1991’s “Terminator 2 : Judgement Day”.

The movie, produced by Cameron and also starring Mackenzie Davis, Gabriel Luna, Natalia Reyes, Diego Boneta, and Brett Azar, will open against Sony’s “Charlie’s Angels” reboot starring Kristen Stewart.

According to Deadline, Paramount are “extremely confident in the movie”, which says quite a bit considering the lukewarm responses the last few films in the long-running franchise – specifically, “Terminator : Genisys” – achieved.
