Paz Vega will star alongside Sylvester Stallone in the fifth “Rambo” film, it was announced today.
The Spanish actress, best known for her roles in “Spanglish” and “Kill The Messenger”, will play a reporter whose half-sister is kidnapped by the Mexican drug cartel in “Last Blood”.
Stallone reprises his role as Vietnam vet John J. Rambo in the movie, which is currently shooting in Bulgaria and Spain under the direction of Adrian Grunberg.
In the movie, Vega’s Carmen Delgado teams up with Rambo to find her sister.
Meantime, Bulgarian press outlets are reporting that the Stone Desert (Pobiti Kamani) located near the Black sea town of Varna is expected to double for the Mexican setting.
