Peter Sarsgaard is in final negotiations to join Denzel Washington, Chris Pratt and Ethan Hawke in “The Magnificent Seven”.
Antoine Fuqua is directing the remake of the 1960 film about seven gunslingers who protect an oppressed Mexican village from a group of outlaws.
According to Variety, Sarsgaard will play the film’s villain – a “robber baron who runs the outlaws who have overtaken the town”.
Vincent D’Onofrio, Haley Bennett and Luke Grimes co-star.
