Picard series beams up three more!

A couple more dynamite actors have joined the Patrick Stewart-Picard reprise series over at CBS All Access.

Alison Pill, who you’ll remember from “The Newsroom”, “Penny Dreadful” staple Harry Treadway and Isa Briones (“American Crime Story : Versace”) will share scenes with the chrome dome in the untitled “Star Trek” series.

Santiago Cabrera, Michelle Hurd and Evan Evagora were previously announced for the series, which, the presser reminds us “features Sir Patrick Stewart reprising his iconic role as Jean-Luc Picard, which he played for seven seasons on “Star Trek: Next Generation.” The new series will follow this iconic character in the next chapter of his life and will air exclusively on CBS All Access in the United States and will be distributed concurrently internationally by CBS Studios International.”

With Jonathan Frakes helming a couple of episodes of the show, I’m thinking the next casting announcement might pertain to a Riker reprise. Just a guess.
