Pierce Brosnan has been cast opposite Dwayne Johnson for upcoming DC superhero flick “Black Adam”, in which Johnson will be playing the title character.

Brosnan has been slot in the role of Kent Nelson, aka the good Dr. Fate, a son of an archeologist who was taught sorcery skills and given the magical Helmet of Fate. Alongside Johnson and Brosnan, the cast of “Black Adam” includes Aldis Hodge as Hawkman, Noah Centineo as Atom Smasher, and Quintessa Swindell as Cyclone. Marwan Kenzari is also involved, but in a yet unknown role.

The plot of the New Line film is being kept under wraps at this stage, but with a cast like this – we’re excited!
