Bloody Disgusting has been getting some cool-ass casting news from Rob Zombie’s assistant on “The Devils Rejects” (the sequel to “House of 1000 Corpses” for the uninitiated) and this latest one is an absolute trip.
“File this one under the strangest casting news yet. But apparently porn legend Ginger Lynn has joined the cast of The Devil’s Rejects. We don’t want to give away too much, but let’s just say that Captain Spaulding get his rocks off big time”, writes Zombie’s assistant.
“As the production enters its third week of principle photography the word is that the picture is on schedule and that Lion’s Gate is beyond thrilled with what they have been seeing. One executive was quoted as saying that, "The film is much darker and nastier than anything seen in the first film. The difference between this film and House of 1000 Corpses is night and day. The first film looks like Finding Nemo compared to The Devil’s Rejects. Mr. Zombie is far exceeding our expectations."”
So far the cast includes Bill Moseley, Sid Haig, Sheri Moon, Michael Berryman, Ken Foree, Kane Hodder, Steve Railsback, Tyler Mane, P.J. Soles, Danny Trejo, Brian Posehn, Leslie Easterbrook, Daniel Roebuck, Duane Whitaker, Rosario Dawson and more.
