Ray Wise, appearing at today’s San Diego Comic-Con panel for “Batman : The Killing Joke”, told attendees that he’ll appear in all 18 episodes of the “Twin Peaks” reboot hitting Showtime next year.
The actor, who played Leland Palmer in the original series, remained tight-lipped on the revival otherwise.
It’ll be interesting to see how David Lynch – who directed every episode and co-wrote with Mark Frost the new season – explains why and how how the long-departed Palmer (Wise) is still getting about town. Might Leland’s doppelganger have escaped the Red Room? Maybe Leland’s taken the form of ‘BOB’? Speculate away.
