Prequels star returns to play Boba Fett in The Mandalorian!

Kiwi actor Temuera Morrison, who played Jango Fett in “Star Wars : Attack of the Clones”, will play son Boba Fett in season two of the Disney+ Star Wars series.

Interestingly enough, the younger Fett was supposed to have died in the sarlacc pit in 1983’s “Return of the Jedi”. His surprise ‘resurrection’ was teased on “The Mandalorian” last season when a mysterious figure sporting the bounty hunter’s trademark spurs approached the apparently lifeless body of Fennec Shand (Ming-Na Wen).

There’s always the possibility that – since Bobba was said to be a clone of his father, himself a clone – that this new Boba is a clone, too. Or something…

The second season of “The Mandalorian” is expected to bow in October.
