Pretty Little Liars reboot in the works

Even though it feels like the show has only just ended, “Pretty Little Liars” is following in “Gossip Girl’s” footsteps and getting a reboot already.

“Riverdale” showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa is heading up the project for Warner Bros. TV, with a new storyline and a new bunch of characters said to be involved.

“Pretty Little Liars” wrapped up in 2016 after 7 seasons, and helped to launch the careers of Lucy Hale and Tyler Blackburn, amongst others. The teen-centric thriller was incredibly popular, so it’s not surprising they’re looking for a way to bring it back in some way.

No network is attached as yet.
Thanks to THR.
