Rachael Taylor has joined the cast of Netflix’s original superhero series “Marvel’s A.K.A. Jessica Jones”, Marvel announced on Thursday.
Taylor will play Trish Walker, the best friend of titular character Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter).
The newcomer also joins David Tennant, who was recently cast as the villain of the show, Kilgrave.
“Marvel’s A.K.A. Jessica Jones” follows Jessica, after her short-lived and tragically ended superhero stint, as she rebuilds her personal life and detective career, getting pulled into cases involving extraordinary people in New York City.
Trish Walker – a syndicated radio talk show host, former model and child television star – helps Jessica embark on the most dangerous case of her career. In the Marvel Comics, Trish went by the identity ‘Hellcat’.
“Marvel’s A.K.A. Jessica Jones” is set to premiere on Netflix this year.
