Rambo : Last Blood ends in a “truly unexpected” way

It’s been billed from the beginning as the final chapter in John Rambo’s life but Sylvester Stallone’s “Last Blood” reportedly ends in a “truly unexpected way”.

According to studio chief Joe Drake, the iconic character –  played for the fifth time by 71-year-old Stallone – will go out in a ”big way” in the September release.

Screen Rant’s Rob Keeyes got the 411 from the big man.

The film, directed by Adrian Grunberg, will see Rambo unlocking the weapons cabinet again when he goes after a violent cartel who has kidnapped the daughter of a friend.

“Rambo : Last Blood” hits theaters September 20.
