It’s been billed from the beginning as the final chapter in John Rambo’s life but Sylvester Stallone’s “Last Blood” reportedly ends in a “truly unexpected way”.
According to studio chief Joe Drake, the iconic character – played for the fifth time by 71-year-old Stallone – will go out in a ”big way” in the September release.

The film, directed by Adrian Grunberg, will see Rambo unlocking the weapons cabinet again when he goes after a violent cartel who has kidnapped the daughter of a friend.
“Rambo : Last Blood” hits theaters September 20.
