The studios have been busy slotting stuff in this week, beginning with Lionsgate who have skedded Sly Stallone’s final “Rambo” film for a September release.
The studio, via Deadline, have announced that “Rambo : Last Blood” will open September 18.
Adrian Grunberg directs the film, which also stars Paz Vega, Sergio Peris-Mencheta, and Yvette Monreal.
Paramount has pulled “Are You Afraid of the Dark?”, based on the old horror anthology series, from it’s original October 4 release date. No new date. Meantime, the studio has set a November 13th 2020 release date for “Clifford the Big Red Dog” , and a January 29th 2021 release date for the new “Rugrats” movie.
“The Kitchen”, starring Melissa McCarthy, Tiffany Haddish, and Elisabeth Moss, will now open a month earlier – New Line announced today – on August 9.
Amazon Studios has announced a June 7th release date Emma Thompson & Mindy Kaling-led comedy “Late Night”.
