Reports suggest that Catwoman has been cast in “The Batman”, which has Robert Pattinson in the lead role. Per Variety, Zoe Kravitz has been tapped to play Catwoman in the Matt Reeves directed flick.
Matt Reeves also tweeted an image of the actress, which he also did prior to Pattinson’s announcement as Batman.

The film has been given a release date of June 25, 2021, with pre-production on the Warner Bros.-DC Comics pic set to begin towards the end of this year.
Many big names have played the anti-heroine, most recently Anne Hathaway in “The Dark Knight Rises”. Michelle Pfeiffer played perhaps the most memorable Catwoman in “Batman Returns in 1992, and Halle Berry portrayed her in the headline flick in 2004.
Kravitz recently starred in the second series of “Big Little Lies”, and can be seen in the upcoming series “High Fidelity” on Hulu.
