Rumor Time : Charlie Hunnam to play Johnny Cage

Charlie Hunnam is rumored to be in the running to play Johnny Cage in the next “Mortal Kombat” film.

The “Sons of Anarchy” and “Pacific Rim” star’s name was floated by industry insider Daniel Richtman, whose scoops have panned out on numerous occasions. Previous rumored candidates for the part include Ryan Reynolds and Chris Pratt.

Linden Ashby played Cage in the original “Mortal Kombat” film.
