Having been spotted hanging out with cast members over the weekend, no surprise really to hear that Russell Crowe has a cameo in the next “Thor” movie.
The Oscar winning actor was seen with Chris Hemsworth, and now word from Deadline that the “Man of Steel” actor has filmed a role in the Taika Waititi directed film, which is currently lensing in Sydney.
“Thor Love and Thunder” will feature several other cameos, with Matt Damon, Luke Hemsworth, Melissa McCarthy and Sam Neill all confirmed to appear in the film.
Due for release in May 6, 2022, the Marvel Studios production will also star Natalie Portman, Tessa Thompson, Christian Bale, Chris Pratt, Jaimie Alexander and Karen Gillan.
Though “Thor” will mark Crowe’s first Marvel film, he previously appeared in a DC production, “Man of Steel”, playing Superman’s father Jor-El.
