“Poker Face” is a new thriller, set in the world of high stakes poker and international finance, directed by and starring Russell Crowe.

According to Variety, the film is shooting during NSW’s lockdown, applying strict COVID-safe guidelines, as it rolls on location around Sydney and the city’s Fox Studios.

Crowe stars as a tech billionaire caught in a risky card game.

Liam Hemsworth, Elsa Pataky and RZA are also aboard the film, produced by Arclight Films.

The film’s script was originally set in Miami but “Unhinged” star Crowe pushed the producers to change the location to Sydney, so the film could showcase the NSW Capital’s many iconic landmarks.
