Looks like Ryan Gosling could be headed to space again, with the star in talks to become an astronaut for “Project Hail Mary”. The film is based from the book by “The Martian” author Andy Weir – with a 7-figure deal in the works with MGM. Gosling will also produce with Ken Kao.
Per Deadline, “Project Hail Mary” is described as a solitary tale of an astronaut on a space ship who is tasked with saving the planet.
Gosling also played astronaut Neil Armstrong in “First Man”.
