Salma Hayek will replace Thandiwe Newton in the upcoming second sequel to “Magic Mike”, says The Hollywood Reporter.

The “House of Gucci” star heads to London to begin shooting for the film, following Newton’s decision to leave the film as a result of having to deal with a family matter.

“Thandiwe Newton has made the difficult decision to step away from the production of Warner Bros. Pictures’ Magic Mike’s Last Dance to deal with family matters,” a Warners spokesperson said in a statement.

To premiere on HBO Max, “Magic Mike’s Last Dance” will again star Channing Tatum as male stripper Mike Lane. Steven Soderbergh directs.
