SDCC : Ruffalo about to unveiled as Hulk!?

A couple of years back, it was reported that Mark Ruffalo was the leading contender to pull up the Purple togs and bounce about a San Franciscian street as “The Avengers”‘ Incredible Hulk… or rather, Bruce Banner (since an Apple Ibook will likely be responsible for the ‘Hulk’ part of that performance).

Seems the deal may be done – or will be by tomorrow. According to Deadline, Marvel may announce the “Brothers Bloom” and “Zodiac” star as Edward Norton’s replacement at their Comic Con Panel.

While on the topic of “Avengers”, director Joss Whedon said today on a panel that Nathan Fillion would be playing Ant Man in the movie. Thing is, Whedon was joking – he even stated that the character of Ant Man won’t be appearing in the film. Sorry Tightpants fans!
