See Star Wars on the cover of Vanity Fair

The “Star Wars” franchise will celebrate its 40th anniversary this week (feeling old?), so it’s timely for Vanity Fair to release 4 alternate covers featuring the cast of upcoming movie “The Last Jedi”.

The magazine has previewed the four covers online, which are to hit shelves June 1st in LA and New York, and across America on June 6th. On a semi-related note, if anyone in the US fancies sending us a copy of each cover to us here in Australia, you will be handsomly rewarded.

See the four covers below, including one of the late Princess. They are sure to become collectors items, so be sure to pick them up in store.

Daisy Ridley as Rey, with Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker.

Heavyweights of the First Order – Captain Phasma (Gwendoline Christie), General Hux (Domhnall Gleeson), and Kylo Ren (Adam Driver)

Pin-up boy Poe Dameron (Oscar Isaac), with friends Finn (John Boyega) and the droid BB-8 (as himself). Also featuring Rose Tico (Kelly Marie Tran).

Carrie Fisher as Princess Leia.
