Sense8 actor reunites with Wachowski for Matrix 4

Hot on the heels of reports Johnathan Groff is enlisting, Toby Onwumere (“Sense8”) has also reportedly joined the cast of Lana Wachowski’s fourth “Matrix” film, says Deadline.

Onwumere, who plays Capheus on the Netflix series “Sense8”, joins Keanu Reeves, Carrie-Anne Moss, Jada Pinkett Smith, Jessica Henwick, Neil Patrick Harris, and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II in the Warner Bros/Village Roadshow production, which begins lensing next year.

Aleksandar Hemon and David Mitchell are writing the script. Wachowski is producing with Grant Hill.
