Amy Pascal says Tom Holland will be back for three more “Spider-Man” movies

Warner Bros. Pictures announced today that “Magic Mike’s Last Dance,” the third installment in the blockbuster film franchise starring Channing Tatum, will debut exclusively on HBO Max. The team behind the first “Magic Mike,” which garnered praise from critics and audiences alike, has come together to create the magic again. Tatum will reprise his role as “Mike Lane” and Steven Soderbergh returns to the helm with a script from Reid Carolin, who also wrote the first two films. Gregory Jacobs, who directed the hit “Magic Mike XXL,” returns to produce along with Carolin, Nick Wechsler and Peter Kiernan.

“Is there anybody on screen more charismatic and appealing than Magic Mike?” said Toby Emmerich, Chairman, Warner Bros. Pictures Group, “We’re thrilled to be back in business with Channing, Steven and their creative team to bring back Magic Mike’s wonderful combination of dance, drama, romance and humor.”

“There are no words for how excited I am to blow the doors off of the world of ‘Magic Mike’ with Steven, Greg, Reid, and the amazing people at HBO Max. The stripperverse will never be the same,” said Tatum.

Soderbergh added, “As soon as I saw what Channing, Reid, and the ‘Magic Mike’ choreographic team did with the live show, I said we have to make another movie. Mike Lane’s dream of connecting people through dance must be realized!”

Producer Amy Pascal says Tom Holland will be back for another Sony/MCU “Spider-Man” trilogy following next month’s “Spider-Man : No Way Home”.

“This is not the last movie that we are going to make with Marvel – [this is not] the last Spider-Man movie,” Pascal tells Fandango. “We are getting ready to make the next Spider-Man movie with Tom Holland and Marvel. We’re thinking of this as three films, and now we’re going to go onto the next three. This is not the last of our MCU movies.”

There’s talk of a “Malignant” sequel, says star Annabelle Wallis.

Speaking to Screen Rant, the actress says “There’s plenty of ideas swirling around. We were very, very flattered by the reception and I think taken aback by the reception. So yeah, there’s lots of conversations happening.”

Dolph Lundgren, currently filming the “Aquaman” sequel, tells The Hollywood Reporter that there’s talk of a “Drago” movie – spinning off his character from “Rocky IV” and “Creed II”.

“I think there’s some talk about doing a whole spinoff on Drago with MGM. So you may get more of that.”

As for “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom”, Lundgren says “That whole picture is just a class act. Everybody from James Wan and Jason Momoa to Amber Heard and the producers. I think this one is better. I think the script is stronger and it’s more exciting. The technology has moved forward in four years, so I was really pleased to be a part of it. James Wan is just going to blow everybody away again by this tremendous world that he creates. He’s involved in every little detail, even every little piece of every weapon, and I think it’s going to be great.
