Smallville returns!

It was announced a couple of days back that “Smallville” alumni Tom Welling and Erica Durance would be reprising their much-beloved incarnations of Clark Kent and Lois Lane, respectively, for the Arrowverse’s five-part “Crisis on Infinite Earths” crossover.

The production kicked off in Vancouver this week, and Durance celebrated by posting a photo of her reunion with co-star Welling.

“So, I was just minding my own business, and I ran into this guy,” Durance posted. “Laughed until I cried! So much fun.”

Michael Rosenbaum, who played Clark’s nemesis Lex Luthor on the long-running WB series, was also asked to appear in the crossover but opted to stick with his hair.

The crossover event will “reveal what happened to Clark Kent almost 10 years” after the conclusion of the hit series.

“For eight years, Arrow has stood on the shoulders of Smallville,” EP Marc Guggenheim said in a statement. “Simply put, there would be no Arrow, and no Arrowverse, without it. So when we first started talking about ‘Crisis on Infinite Earths,’ our first, second and third priorities were getting Tom to reprise his iconic role as Clark Kent. To say that we’re thrilled would be a Superman-sized understatement.”

In addition to Welling’s version, Tyler Hoechlin and Brandon Routh will also be reprising their other-worldly takes on Superman and his alter-ego.

“Crisis on Infinite Earths” kicks off Sunday, Dec. 8.
