In a new video posted earlier today, Bad Boys co-stars Will Smith and Martin Lawrence confirmed that the fourth film in that series is officially a go. Further, Bad Boys For Life directors Adil & Bilall will be at the helm of this one too.
“It’s official, y’all,” Smith said, confirming production on the Jerry Bruckheimer produced sequel. “Bad boys for life, baby!”
Smith held up four fingers, joking that the movie is titled Bad Boys 4 Life — but his co-star was quick to point out that that title is taken.
“We shouldn’t have called it that, though. “The 3 was the ‘e,’ ” said Smith, “But this is Bad Boys 4. It’s official!”
No word on exactly when it goes before the cameras.
