“IT” star Sophia Lillis has been cast as Nancy Drew in “Nancy Drew and the Hidden Staircase”, the new feature film for Warner Bros. The film is based on the Nancy Drew books.
According to Deadline, Ellen DeGeneres, Jeff Kleeman, and Chip Diggins are on board to produce the project, which is expected to begin filming soon.
“Nancy Drew and the Hidden Staircase” was written by Mildred Wirt Benson and published under the pseudonym Carolyn Keene, and was adapted into a film in 1930.
